If you are new to this game and would like to be in the same world and same island with ur friend you are in the right place. Here is a guide to show u step by step with screenshot to let you have a better understanding in doing things. Please follow the steps shown below :

1. go to this link http://ikariam.org/

2. Create Account



3. After your account had been successfully created you will be login once u click on the login button.


4. Your friend told you that you are very far away from him/her. You have limited wood but have many choices of building to build, so if you want to be with your friend you will have to build Academy first.


5. Once you are done go and send 32 citizens to collect woods in the forest. The remaining citizens are to be send to the Academy to do research for your town. Do not build anything else after you have build Academy.

6. you will have to research the following in order :

- Conservation
- Pulley
- Wealth
- Carpentry
- Deck Weapons
- Ship maintenance
- Expansion
to change or to view what have u research pls look at the screenshot shown below.


7. The moment you have research Conservation you should build Warehouse first.

8. After you have build your warehouse you should build Trading Port and try to buy 3 cargo ships with your gold

9. Once you have build Academy, Warehouse and Trading port keep on upgrading your academy then town hall then warehouse.

10. Stop upgrading your Town Hall and Warehouse when the next level requires marble to upgrade. As for the academy stop upgrading it once it requires crystals to upgrade to the next level.

11. after you have done these you can stop building anything and wait for your academy to finish researching Expansion.

12. Once you have research expansion try and build a palace in your town.

13. After you have build your palace you have to demolish your academy.

14. temp recall all ur citizens back from the forest to earn gold by staying in town doing nothing until you have 9k gold.

15. once you have 9k gold send your citizens back to the forest to gather more wood until you have a total of 1250 wood. Make sure your income does not goes negative if not your 9k gold will decrease in every hour

16. once you have 1250 wood take out all your

17. Once you have 1250 wood 3 cargo ships and 9k gold , please recall all your citizens back from the forest again and make sure you have 40 citizens in town.

then key in your friends location example 72:85 after that u click on the arrow button shown in the screenshot


after you have key in the numbers then click on the town that they have a arrow pointed for you then click on the empty spot that looks like a yellow flag shown below.
